After dealing with an unexpected cancer diagnosis in my husband this summer, I have restarted my marathon training. I am running the Princess 1/2 marathon in March 2010 and shooting for the full Martian Marathon next spring. I'm also working on speed for my 5K races next summer.
I am thankful that God has heard the prayers for my husband that were occurring across the United States for the past 4 months and that he is recovering.
Debbie 53 in 9 days. Married for 28 years. Mom of three boys so I have time to run. Work part time as nurse in ED. Current goal is to maintain fitness and prepare for January Speed Development Training Program.
Finished my first marathon in October and hope to do it again next October. Will have a few half marathons and other races along the way.Moslty I just love to run and have a great group of running buddies through my club and almost always have some one to run with if I want to.
I have Las Vegas Rock and Roll Half coming up but not racing it. I am running with my slower hubby and celebrating our 28th anniversary and birthdays late. We will renew our vows along the way so we will stay together and make this about fun and not about speed in any way.
