I too agree with Mike and Charles except I use S-Caps over Endurolytes. I tried both and it seemed like the S-caps worked the best. So if you have cramping, in my case it was stomach cramps, they are well worth the try.
Aaron - I can relate to the monetary comment, after I decided to go for 50 states, I finally did the math and concluded that it will cost me a minimum of $10,000 (50 races * 200/event) and I fear a bit more when I add in air travel to various states…
I was looking at running 12 marathons in 12 states in 2010, but decided monetarily and time wise it would be better to run 6 in 6 states instead.
One might be in Vancouver BC, but Canada is the 51st state anyway right?

We can discuss which ones to do in each state, how to train, good marathons to do back to back, states completed and anything else about running a marathon in every state.
I've run three marathons in three different states: MI, IL, and OH. In November, I'll be running #4 in NY. Next year I have this idea of knocking off 12 marathons in 12 different states
I am up to 10 states completed, here is my list of states.
# States: 10 - MN, WI, TN, MO, ND, IA, OR, MT, KS, SD
Nine of the above were marathons and one was a 50k.
If the timing works out, my next state will be either Illinois or Nebraska in Sep…
